Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Xen 3.2 - Amd 4200+

All,

I have downloaded the ISO file for XEN 3.2 server (from xensource website). I have an AMD 4200+ and would like to know if you ever have succeeded in the virtualization of a Windows OS on this kind of CPU.

I have read that in order to do so, the CPU must BE VT enable but do not know if / how to activate this functionality (at BIOS level)?

So please, if you have succeeded in such installation, could you post a short 'how-to' here?

Thanks in advance,

Vincent

Code:
grep flags /proc/cpuinfo
returns your CPU's feature set. I forget which ones correspond to hardware virtualization, but I'm sure a little googling can turn up info.

Also, FWIW, the GUI tools and wizards make it a fairly trivial task. Here's an old screenshot of my Xen setup on FC6, using a $50 Sempron 3000+:
