XBOX + TV Tunner + Linux = crappy graphics

I'm getting fuzzy graphics when I play Halo 2 on a xbox. The graphics are about 60% to 70% compared to what I get when playing it on a "normal" TV. I don't know if I should call it resolution or sharpness or what. But it looks like crap playing it on a PC.

I want to know what hardware is causing this. Is it the TV tuner, video card, what? TV via kdetv plays fine. DVD and videos play fine in Kaffeine. I have my nvidia drivers installed correctly as well as all codex and other "restricted" formats.

My guess right now is it's the TV tuner and maybe the video card second. The XBOX is using it's normal cable to plug into an adapter that came with my TV Tuner which plugs into the S-Video in. I was using kdetv in full screen mode. Later on I'm going to test it in Windows XP with the software that came with it. I'll post a reply later and late you know if there was any difference.

Here's my specs.

CPU = AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 2800+ 1.6 Ghz
RAM = 1.507 GB
Video = GeForce FX 5200/PCI/SSE2
Video RAM = 128 MB
AGP Mem = 188 MB
Video Driver = 2.1.0 NVIDIA 96.31
Sound = SiS SI7012 with CMI9761 at 0xd800, irq 18
Sound Driver = ALSA Version 1.0.13
Kernel = 2.6.18.8-0.5-default
X Version = Xorg Version 7.1.99.902 (7.2.0 RC 2)
OS = SuSE openSUSE 10.2 (X86-64)
TV Tuner = Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Expert
