X Server Won't start


Please help me the x server won't start from command.
I tried the startx :1 and it still won't start

error message: Mode not avaible
default runlevel: 5
Running X86
I've tried nothin else.

Maybe you could provide us with little more information:

error messages
distribution
XFree86 or Xorg
default runlevel
what else have you tried

If I asked you why my car does not start, could you help me?
