I'm new to wireless in linux and i was wondering what i need to do to connect to my wireless network. What drivers do i have to download how do i configure them and so on and so forth. When i plug in the card it recognizes it as a wireless card. When i try to preform an "iwlist eth1 scan" it says "eth1 interface doesn't support scanning". Here are the exact system specifics for my laptop and the card:
Laptop:
IBM thinkpad A22e
700Mhz Proccesser
256mb RAM
40GB HD
Slackware 10.2 w/ gnome installed
Wireless card:
Linksys Instant wireless network PC card
WPC11 ver. 3
