wlan card sensitivity


hi,
can i increase the range or sensitivity of my wlan card.

I don't know much about this, but I did recently stumble into this: If you do "man iwconfig" in a terminal, will see an option for changing sensitivity. I tried it on mine and the command was rejected--presumably because my card does not support that option.

For anyone else to help, they are going to need the details on your card--make, model, etc.

Also, there are range extenders available--I have no data, but Google will....
