That small of a difference isn't going to matter. It will have enough breathing space to get the signal over the laptop keyboard. The only real issues arise when you are trying to use a mouse through whole solid blockers, like you have a multiple layered wooden desk and try to use a mouse lower, through a solid block of wood with no direct access, or from across an Aquarium. Just like wireless internet only solid things, most notably water, concrete, and thick wood really don't handle passing signal well. Think radio/and IR signal physics, it isn't massively complicated, try your tv remote to the tv, so long as it can find a path, it is okay, but through a solid wall is usually not.
