wireless USB keyboard/mouse combo locks up after 3-4 minutes

i have just bought a new keyboard mouse wireless combo (logitech EX90)

first setup works fine with everything as it should be....

a few minutes later i get the mouse locking up (totally dead, as if there was no mouse present)

a restrat of X normally fixes this but not allways,

the keyboard seems to work fine....

this was exactly the same problem as a cheaper combo i bought earlier...
taht i had dismissed as being faulty....

any idea what ma be causing this?

here is the relivant parts of
xorg.conf
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
    Driver "kbd"
    Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
    Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout" "gb"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Configured Mouse"
    Driver "vmmouse"
EndSection

I'm not using the same make wireless keyboard and mouse as you, however here is what I have in my xorg.conf.
Code:
Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Keyboard1"
    Driver "kbd"
    Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout" "gb"
    Option "XkbOptions" "compose:rwin"
EndSection

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier "Mouse1"
    Driver "mouse"
    Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2"
    Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"
EndSection
If you are going to edit your xorg.conf backup your original first!
