wireless drives me crazy


this is my first attempt to install wireless network to my house i got wpc54g from linksys and learned that broadcom doesnt have linux drivers for linux so i will change it i want a g band wireless what do you guys use. please give me the model if possible instead of chipset but all of you help would be greatly appriciated thx.

i also have linksys wireless access point 2.4 ghz for 802.11b is this gonna cause any problems if i change the wireless card.

To the best of my knowledge, there are *NO* 802.11g drivers available for linux. For wireless, you'll need to stay with an 802.11b card and AP.

If you will consider a Prism based card or USB widget, then look here for an appropriate device.

I use the MA311 pci card myself, coupled with the wlan-ng driver set.
