Wireless driver not working now
Hello all,
Everything was going fine. Once, I started my fedora 10 and I found out that no wirless driver is installed!!! How can I check for this and fix this problem. P.S. I am new to linux. Thanks |
I believe fedora doesn't come with wireless drivers out of the box you have to compile the modules for them..
some more information would be nice.. what driver were you using? are u using ndiswrapper w/ .inf or are you using native linux drivers what kind of wireless device is it? Is it pci/pcmcia/usb/on-board. If it's pci then typing 'lspci' should tell you the vendor info IE: mine says Code:
awaken@inmideb:~$ lspci |
