wireless card problems
Hi everybody,
I'm new to Linux, having just installed SUSE 10.0 on my old Dell PIII with 128MB RAM. The installation went fine, but I can't seem to get the system to recognize the D-Link DWL-G520 wireless card that worked fine previously. I found several references to "madwifi" at SourceForge.net, but they have apparently taken it off the site. I'm so new that I don't even know what to do to find out what's wrong! Help! |
You need to follow the newbie guide at http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo
It's quite lengthy and trying for a new user, but worth the effort. Hopefully soon out-of-the-box support for madwifi will be built into the distro's and it should auto configure. Maybe see if you can find out on the SuSe website. |

Madwifi help
Thanks. I had intended to put the message in "Networking", but somehow, it was sent before I had a chance to place it there.
