Wireless Card
hi
i am looking for a wireless network adapter (802.11g possibly) that can be deeply configured: i need it for i am setting up a testbed for wireless routing and i need to accesso to the MAC layer, to modify the RF power of the antenna and that sort of things. I also need to make it work under Linux (probably Debian), so i need good linux drivers.
I was suggested to use the Ray Talk cards (www . raytalk.com/clients . html#), and i saw the RC550i card: does anyone know if there is a linux driver for that one? i did look on the Prism54 site (it has a Intersil Chipset), but there's no sign of it....
Else, i took a look to the Linksys cards, but there's no info on the site... i also wondered about Aironet cards, but they are really expensive... does anyone know if either Linksys or Aironet cards are deeply configurable?
thanx in advance
