wireless capability for eee pc


i have the eee pc 1000h. i installed and updated the latest version of ubuntu successfully. how can i get the wireless ability working? also, in the ubuntu variant "ubuntu eee", i understand that it is modified so that the function key on the keyboard works. where and how can i get the wireless and keyboard working properly?
