Other than the custom kernel I'm using Mandriva LE2005.
I have a feeling that device 00:0b.4 has somethig to do with the problem (but only because it comes up a "unknown"). I know people have got this card working, but I can't seem to find any decent HOWTOs on the subject! Perhaps that can be a job for me, if I get it working of course!
I have not used DVB cards because I do not have satelite or live in the UK, so I can not help you any further. I did setup Hauppauge PVR-250 that has similar steps except downloading channels as the dvb howto. If you have any more documentation that you what to be summarized, just post the link.
BTW, Mandriva 10.x is not the easiest version to tinker or setup hardware. I suggest Mandrake 9.x or Slackware.
