windows sound/graphics drivers in Linux

Hi all,

Is there any projects that provides compatibility wrappers to run windows sound/graphics drivers in Linux ,similar to the ndiswrapper or DriverLoader (see:- http://www.linuxant.com/company/press_dldr.php) to run network drivers in linux ?

It would be really nice if there is a linux port for win32prn project

Hi sulekha, There aren't any projects for sound/video wrappers that I'm aware of. The sound community is generally well supported by ALSA and OSS. The newer video drivers these days are usually Intel, ATI, or Nvidia, and supported by the vendors as well as Xorg. The older video drivers are well supported also.

Good luck. ;-)
