Will nVidia 6600 128mb PCIE work with Linux?

Hi folks,

http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/sh...p?product=1975

There it says the 256mb one works. I'll be getting a desktop with a 128mb one. I presume that since the 256mb one works with the driver, the 128mb one will work also.

Am I right?

Thanks :)

It should work as the page says.
I'm not a guru or anything, so wait for some better advice.

It looks like both newer Linux kernels and recent NVidia drivers support PCI Xpress, so my answer is a qualified yes. Qualified because I haven't tried it myself. Send me a 6600 card and I'll figure out how to set it up for you ;-)
