Well I am to the point where I am ready to give up. I have searched lq and the web and I can't find a firm answer.

supported in Fedora Core 4. FWIW, it worked in win2k. I am becoming suspicous. Here's why.

I can hook up one drive to the card (no raid, no second drive) and it works just like one drive hooked directly to the mobo.

When I add another drive and boot into the bios raid manager, i can then make a new MIRROR array. Everything is cool (one drive visible, one drive "hidden")

Start FC4 and the two drives appear as seperate drives (hde, hdg) and neither will mount. They throw all kind of errors that I won't go into (unless it helps troubleshoot this problem).

So has anybody got this card to run? If so, any ideas?

IF NOT, can you tell me how to get reliable MIRROR raid into this system. I'm on a budget so I can't really can't afford a new expensive card. But the data is important, so i will buy something if i have to.
