will a fresh install corrupt or loose my linux-raid?

Ok, i have 3 drives in my linux box, 1 of which is seperated into 2 partions, (well, 4 but the other 2 /usr and swap).

one of the partitions as well as the other 2 hdd make up a raid-0 array. this array was created during the install, and is a Linux software raid.

what i want to know is this. if i re-install linux (opensuse 10.2), will i loose that software linux-raid.

Hi,
If you did not touch them during installation, I mean you did not destroy th raid or format the partitions, I think the new system will recognize them.
But you can test it by booting from rescue CD, and see if it recognize all your file system and partition..
Let me know....

so will i be able to format my filesystem partitions? as in my / and /usr...as long as i dont resize or format my raid partitions?
