Wifi Issues
 

This is somewhat urgent, but I'm having problems setting up my external USB wifi device on my Slackware 10.2 system. The device is a Linksys Wireless-G USB network Adapter with Speed Booster, model number wusb54gs.

Any suggestions?

Post WiFi questions in Forum > Networking > Wireless.
Use the search function to see if LQ got threads on the WUSB54GS.
Try to find out the exact chipset it uses.
Look at ndiswrapper (Sourceforge).

can you please post your device id from lsub
and version number (if you know) 1.0, 2.0, 2.1,
serial number first say 6 characters, date of manufacture
