why do i have white noise with intel i915 ich6 and suse 10.0 rc1


During audio playback of any type there's white background noise i have suse 10.0 rc1 and a sony vaio fs 285m with intel i915 ich6 sound system..can anyone help me?Thanks

You have used this

particular system with another OS without getting the background noise?

In windows xp it play excellent sound without white noise...this noise is in particulary present during dvd playback with palyer based on xine engine
