White color is grey on RADEON9200SE

Hello,
I shall be very thankfull for the help with this - I have my display connected via the KVM switch to 2 computers - one with Win98 and one with FC3+RADEON 9200SE. When I switch between both I can very clearly see that the white areas in FC3 box are significantly grey in comparison to those in Win98.
I did not found any setting to be set for this.
I searched the internet but found nothing.
I also checked the display settings - are exactly the same in both cases.
Please, help, as the difference makes the work difficult.
Thanks ahead.

PS: Just read the post rules...:-)

Is it only the white color or are all colors actually a bit darker? Because if that's the case, you can try using the xgamma command to fix that:

xgamma -gamma 1.5

Yes, I tried this already.
You know that all these questions are very difficult to describe and evaluate. But it is much simpler when you can compare.
So, I should say that the picture in general is less contrast, when I switch to Windows PC with the same scree (same WEB page, for example) I see more colored, contrast, bright, alive picture. I don't know how to describe this with my poor English.
But what is 100% correct and measurable - is the white color, which is gray for sure. This is simple to see.
Now, when I set gamma it makes everything more bright, but still, I see that white remains gray...

Thanks a lot for reply...
