Cabletron Roamabout DS, any of the Orinoco Silver or Golds, the Dell Truemobile, the earlier 3-coms, not the X-jack, but the Airconnects, Xircom and Cisco Aironets (they're the same card) all of these will work out of the box.

Pretty much anything else you get ahold of can be made to work with some fiddling and compilation, or more often, just hand editing one config file. Current annoyances?

The DWL-650+, not supported, not in the least, nothing built on the broadcom 4401 or TI chipsets.

Easy to get working: The original WPC11 v2 (actually that's ootb, but you won't be able to find one), the other WPC11s v.2.5 and v3, the DWL-650, or the DWL-650H... again, not the DWL-650+ or the DWL-650A. Same number, 4 different chipsets. The MA401 from Netgear is alright, pretty much all of the USB adapters are covered being either prism2 or atmel chipsets... that's about it.

Cheers,

Linksys's is the WPC11, Netgear's MA401 is listed up there too, neither of them are very out of the box, but they work; you'll either have to download the www.linux-wlan.net source and compile it, or hack up /etc/pcmcia/config (or add a patched up /etc/pcmcia/hermes.conf), to get them to work, but they're good cards, I've used both with Linux in the past.
