which two HDDs should i buy?

<DISCAIMER(!)> there are many questions here...most of them are probably really n00b of me, but i just want to make sure...um...anything you have to say will help...no comment is too small...and thank you...

I want to dual boot win-xp and SuSE 9.2. windows on one hard drive suse on the other one.
I am currently trying to figure out if it is even possible to dual boot in this manner...I have heard that it is... and now I want to find out what hard drives I should use. Does anyone else even have a running configureation like this?
Are satas really such a pain for suse to configure?
Can I dual boot with different kinds of hdds, ex: my windows is on and IDE, I want to put suse on a sata, can, and should I do this? If not what would you reccommend?

Thanks again everyone.

That configuration will work fine for you. Install Windows first, on the first hard drive. That means master IDE, first channel. (/dev/hda1 in the linux scheme). SuSE 9.2 should include support for just about any SATA controller out there, so it should live fine on one of those as well.

Cheers and good luck Use any drives you like, for the most part.
