which printers and scanners ?


I am going to buy a laser printer, and a scanner.
I don't know are they compatible with linux (redhat 9).
does redhat 9 support laser printers and scanners?
does redhat 9 support usb laser printers and scanners?
I don't have any idea please guide me.

Most of the info I have seen seems to indicate that HP stuff works well under linux. The make to avoid is Lexmark. Have a look here for some detailed recommendations.
