What Version Driver

I'm curious how to find out what driver a particular piece of hardware is using on a Redhad EL4 system. I'm going to be installing a host bus adapter and just found out that I need to use a certain version of the driver. When I put the card in and boot the machine I imagine Kudzu will recongize it and ask if I want to install it. After it's installed I want to find out if the correct version was installed.

Actually, a related question: If it's not the correct version, how would I go about uninstalling it?

Thanks.

To find out the version of the module (driver), use the utility /sbin/modinfo. Uninstalling a module is as easy as deleting it and running /sbin/depmod -a. Though, I suggest reading the README file or documentation that comes with the module to find if there are any extra steps to take to install and uninstall it.
