At this point, please consider creating another thread about compiling this driver. I'd personally do it out of respect for everyone else subscribed to this thread.

It would be nice if a Moderator could split this part out into a seperate thread. It has gone a bit farther than I expected.

If there was a god then the drivers would be here and done. If you believe in that "stuff" then your mind is no longer to think for yourself. Therefore you really
are in a mind state of Armagedon.

"But He Loves you" - George Carlin

In conclusion if you want to thank anyone. It would be the "PEOPLE" free thinkers, and there vision of equal and free world of a world of one.

Notes

THE DRIVER FOR THIS PRINTER REQUIRES SPECIAL SETUP. Please see the driver notes.

With the simple driver "drv_x125" provided by Mark Roth one can print black and white or color up to 1200x600 dpi. Future versions of the driver will support higher resolutions. There are no other known drivers that support this printer and Lexmark does not provide a Linux driver for it.

It is unknown whether fax and scanner drivers for the Lexmark X125 are available. Scanner works perfectly at all Linux systems since kernel-2.6.17. Fax - uknown.

Hewlett Packard G3110 or G41010

I live in Guatemala where there is a limited choice of scanners. Apparently these HPs are available. But need a driver. Thanks,
