Unhappy What Epson or Canon Scanners can be used in Linux?

I am in need of accurate information of which, if any, Epson or Canon Scanners will work with Linux? I mean of those that are currently available, as many models are NOT available! I am using Suse 9.0 Pro.

I just bought a Canon LiDE 30, and it worked fine straight out of the box.
