i am extremely new to linux, and managed to dual boot XP Pro with ubuntu 6.06 LTS. I have a WG311v3 wireless pci card and need help getting it to run. this is a bit confusing.
if its not too much trouble, please help me.
I'm trying to figure out how drivers work myself at the moment, but tell me more and I can be "another set of eyes looking at the problem". Does your ethernet-based networking work fine?
i dont use ethernet. no phone line in the room. i am actually 13 and confused with the whole terminal thing. the only way i connect is with the XP Pro cause the wireless works fine with it. I WISH NETGEAR SUPPORTED LINUX!!!
