Webcam with drivers from manufacter?

Does anybody whom manufacters webcams also provide drivers for Linux? I have an Intel CS330 which I did get working using the spca50x driver. It was so clear under Windows and looks like sh#* under Linux. I would like to buy one but would prefer drivers from the manufacter. Who does this?
