Maroonbaboon: No, the nvidia driver doesn't change much. Nvidia is responsible for the DGA-problems, but those does not seem critical since I can turn DGA of, at least in xawtv. If I use nv instead of Nvidia the same problem as above persists, and the programs complain about not having GLX.
