MikeEller LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2006 Distribution: Ubuntu Posts: 11 Blog Entries: 1 Rep:	WebCam Issues with IM (Howto) Hello, I am trying to get a webcam working for my kids. The webcam seems to get loaded (Ubuntu 7.10) as I can see myself in Kopete device section. But that is all I can make it do. My question is how to get it to work with IM? How do I make it connect with another IM user (AIM)? I have never messed with webcams before so I am not sure how to procede. Thanks for any and all assistance. Mike
