I want to move my 4GB HD w/suse 9.1 (personal) into my new Compaq sr1130NX with Athlon 3000+ w/160GB HD and XP Home installed. I am relative newbie but used Suse in old PC just fine. I am just not sure what, if any, config changes needed on the HD's, or if I can just put in the HD and turn it on. My old PC had 2-4GB HD's (suse only on one / Win 98 on the other) and set to dual boot defaulted to Win. It all worked fine & all updates in Suse, but did not know if I need to set the new 160GB as slave etc. Would I be better off just to put in the 4GB HD, then use the CD to re-install, then download/install all the updates. I also have a CD with Fedora Core. Any instruction appreciated, and more detail is better for this newbie Paul
