W800i ( Mounting and Writing to memory card )
 

I am having problems writing to the memory card on my W800i

When I plug it in via USB Ubuntu Linux detects it as a USB drive and then it mounts it using VFAT.

Now everything works fine if i work in read-only mode .i.e reading data that created with the phone.

The problems begin when I do any write operations, for e.g trying to delete picuters I have created or trying to copy video to the phone via USB.

After I do any of these operations the phone doesnt recognise the stick anymore and I have to format the stick before the phone can use it again. Can anyone shed any light ?
