Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Voodoo 2 3d acceleration - RedHat9

Okay, I've been cruising the forums for the last couple hours, and I can't find anything that works so here goes my shot at someone knowing specifically how to answer my question.

I am running RedHat 9 on a P200MMX, with a riva TNT card, and a voodoo 2 1000 PCI 3d accelerator.

That's from my own knowledge. What is enraging is when I say "probe" it says that I have a generic TRIO card in it, and no matter what I do, it won't allow me to check the box that says "Enable Hardware 3D Acceleration"

I just want all my graphics to work properly <tears> is that so much to ask?

Any direction would be appreciated.

Sorry, I forgot to add that I'm trying to get this to work in gnome (although it boots into bash), should you need that info.
