Volume Control on Keyboard...
 
dunno if its possible, but do you reckon that i could somehow get this going?:

see up the very top of the keyboard, that round circle, well thats the volume control on the keyboard...do you reckon i could get this runnin under linux?

Just a question...im not expecting to, but it'd be good if i could :)

First, you search with the brand and model on google

+linux +hp +keyboard1

It should turn up something.

Normally, if the keyboard is fully recognized, it's just a matter of adding keys to a file and making KDE reflect the changes, assuming you're using KDE.

Search the forum. Function keys I think. It was talked about.

There's a program called Lineak (it stands for LINux Easy Access Keyboard) that allows you easily to assign different functions to the hotkeys on your keyboard. I don't know if it works with what I am pressuming to be a dial rather than a key. Oh, and although it does work, it had a tendency to make my system a little unstable.
