I installed slackware 10 (kernel 2.4.26) on my computer yesterday and everything is running nice exept the fact that the computer is acting like there is no videocard installed, everything lags.. like when I scroll in firefox, the lag is really bad and opengl doesn't work either.
I had the same opengl problem with slack 9.1, but there was no other lag.

I'm running on a hp omnibook xe4500 1,7 GHz with ATI mobility radeon m6 card. I've searched google and can't find anyting about radeon m6 drivers, or the problem with opengl either, I'm running out of ideas, don't have a clue of what to do to stop the lag and get the grafics to run smoothly.
any ideas?

Okay I fixed the lag, I ran the xorgconfig and the lag is no longer a problem but I still can't get opengl to work.. still need help with that one.
