Question video card drivers

Hi,
I just installed RH 7.3 on my HP pavilion ze 1115 laptop. X is running but with a generic driver. I went to the s3 graphics website and downloaded the drivers needed fot my video card which is the Twister. Now all I got is these two files savage_drv.o and s3switch. What do I do with them, where do I install the driver.

you shouldn't ever need to download linux drivers from the internet. just change the card being used via xf86config or whatever tool you want. i don't know if your card is supported under X version 4, you *might* need to use 3.3.6 instead, but 4.2.0 did big a lot of new legacy drivers. having said that i don't know if you're grpahcis card is old or not
