VIA UniChrome Pro Display Driver ver 0.8

now i did the above mentined procedure but, i have three problems:-
1) weird errors like "libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x22"
2) my system freezes randomly,i even can't play a movie

3) corrupted textures even in 2d applications

My Xorg.log.0 file(posted on pastebin as max char limit was reached)

Is there anyone who tried the new driver, did this driver work for anyone.
ATM i am using the binary driver, as VIA gives the source too, so will compiling from source make a diffrence?

is there anyway i can make it work?

Heh, I went the same road, and ended in unusable system, as you did.

So, I forgot VIA, went to http://openchrome.org/ and compiled OpenChrome drivers.

My laptop have Chrome 9 HC IGP on the VN896, and OpenChrome drivers (experimental branch) are working okay, but there's no 3D, and XV is a little buggy.

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables XORG_CFLAGS
and XORG_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

My operating system is Linux FC7, and I have used it on another computer, whose video card is GeForce 7600, I have installed the driver for GeForce 7600 successfully.
So I'm puzzled that why this driver said that no package 'xorg-server' found.

Hello,
I encountered problems while trying to make these openchrome driver.
It seems that I don't have a xf86.h but where to get it from?

Here's the output of "./configure --prefix=/usr"

Well, as I can see (http://tinyurl.com/5zqz22) openchrome package is ready for your distribution (openSuse). Did you try it?
