Thumbs down Via ac'97 alsa setup


i have an ac'97 sound card
but i dont know what 2 do with the alsa drivers:
which folder 2 put them in,
how to run them, etc.

can some one send an faq on how to use alsa because i am a total

Actually if you can figure out (which someone told you in your other post) which soundcard you have, you can check the ALSA soundcard matrix for your card. Follow the instructions from there, it's actually very straight forward.
