Vga problem on my notebook

Hello to everyone.
I am facing a problem and i would like your help.
I use this notebook: compaq bussiness notebook evo n1020v.
My notebook uses Vga: Ati radeon IGP 340M
Windows Xp home edition works on it.
I recently installed Suse Linux 9.0 professional and i realize that my vga cannot be recognized..
I'd like to ask you...
Is there any way to make my vga work on suse???
If not, how i can unistall it ????
ps:i'd prefer to solve the problem without unistall it..
Thanks in advance
your friend KofoE

Question: Can you get a virtual terminal going? If your Suse boot is graphic and you get the blank screen of WTF, try ctrl+alt+F1. You can adjust your settings from there if it comes up. I'm a Slacker, so maybe one of the Suse'ers can be of more help!
