V.92 Anyone?

I've recently bought a Hayes Accura External V.92 modem after having endless troubles with the frankly useless intel-536EP HAM "modem". Set up was a doddle and I was happily on the net within seconds, I am curious though. I'm still connecting with V.90 and I know my ISP supports V.92, is there something I need to change (eg. change the init strings or something) to get the modem to start using V.90? I've had a search on the net but can't seem to find anything on it (other than commands to disable V.92!)
