Isn't this thing just a normal, plain old digital camera? Implying it does not normally stream live video and why would you try to get it to do that instead of getting a real webcam?
no and no it's a digital camera and webcam in one and it's not so old model. i don't wanna get another webcam since i've got this one and it works smoothly under windows - now i'd like to make it work under linux
