Exclamation usbfs (my usb ports) arent working in xubuntu.


im using a fairly old machine that came with windows 98.
I dont dual boot. I have not a clue what to do as I recently migrated to xubuntu.I am also not using virtualization software.

It says "usbfs not supported skipping mount" while loading kernel.
What do I need?(xubuntu ver is 6.10)

I have a perfectly functioning kubuntu installation, and do not use (as far as I can see) usbfs !
