USB2.0 CDRW Drive
i bought a casing to connect my internal CDRW drive from external,
can linux detect it when booting up? |
It *should* do.
Hi, is this a USB external case?
Generally USB drive caddies for IDE or SATA devices present themselves as USB mass storage devices. USB mass storage is essentially SCSI over USB so in Linux, they appear as SCSI drives. Nearly all modern linux distros will auto-detect and sometimes auto-mount them for you. Cheers! -Taiyo |
fine, i am able to use it.
