Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

USB wireless Mouse/Keyboard combo config??

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
I'm a newb and I'm using ARK Linux 2005.1 (H20), and seemingly everything installed beautifully, except for my wireless keyboard and mouse combo. After booting up the GUI to my surprise only the keyboard worked correctly, the mouse has one axis semi working. They both worked during the installation, so I know there's a way to make them both work, but what settings should I be using? I saw USB HID v1.00 Keyboard and Mouse flash by before the install started so there is a driver for them...

Right off the getr-go, is your mouse farther from your usb-receiver-dongal than your kbd? Radio sometimes has such a *short* reach...

Sadly the mouse works in Windows and I know it's not too far from the receiver
