usb-stick doesn't work any more(after reinstalling sqlite)

my laptop dosn't detect any more my usb-stick.
what I have done:
I uninstalled sqlite, after this I wanted to reinstall the rpm, but then my computer wrote that he can't find libsqlite.so.0. because yum and rpm doesn't work without sqlite, I downloaded sqlite-3.2.2.tar.gz and installed it with
./configure
make
make install
rpm still didn't work. I found at google, that I should do:
locate libsqlite3.so
echo "/usr/local/lib" >> /etc/ld.so.conf
ldconfig
now rpm works, but I still can't use my devices usb, and also my devices bluetooth. Installing the rpm of sqlite now, doesn't make a change
I use Fedora Core 4

How can I rescind all my changes I've done with sqlite.

Angry

My usb and bluetooth also doesn't work in windows, so the problem is no software of linux.
What can I do now. I think that I have to send my laptop back to IBM, because I have gatantee on it. or does anyone has an idea, what I can try?
I use an IBM Thinkpad R50p. I have an USB 2.0 card of intel: "Contrôleur hôte étendu USB 2.0 Intel(r) 82801DB/DBM - 24CD"
My bluetooth Modem is of WIDCOMM.
In the Hadrware List of Fedora and in of the Device Manager in Windows, my USB card and the Bluetooth modem is still enumerated.
But the operating system doesn't react at all, when I connect a Hardware.

I would be glad of any suggestion.
