usb stick and action


In some time in kde when i put in my usb stick i get promnt window with some actions. My question is how to make script to run every time i plug my memory stick in but without kde.

Search LQ for information on 'USB hotplugging' and 'USB automounting', specifically posts by if I recall LQ users Gnashley and/or SCerovec. I think it's Gnashley who made a USB automounting tool, which may be just the thing you need!

You need to take a look at "Writing udev rules", here:
