Thumbs up USB proglem


Hi i want to ask you about using usb on suse probably ver. 9.1 I have a problem about mounting a usb flesh on my computer and the problem is that i dont have my root password becouse i forgot it.So i can't mount it.Also my hotplug is not on so how can i turn it on without being a u root?

there are several ways to recover a root password, here is one of it http://aplawrence.com/Linux/lostlinuxpassword.html. I tried and it works, good luck
