Question USB Mouse work ... almost..

Hi all...
I've some trouble with my Logitech Wheel Mouse USB...
I've install the "new" kernel (2.6.9) , after i've compiled it, my mouse worked very well in X (never worked before... (2.4.24)) but I've no sound (it was my mistake, I've included my sound card driver in the kernel, not make as modules), so I've recopiled with my sound card driver as modules (nothing else was changed).. reboot and bang... no mouse but sound ...

I searched the forum but didn't find anything to solve my trouble..
if anyone have an idea .. thanks..

Phoenix
