USB modem E220 comes and goes

Hi all,
I Had the E220 wireless modem working perfectly ok with Fedora 8. However, with Fedora 9 the device is detected as /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 which is identical to F8.

The problem is it comes and goes by itself. In other words, it is detected for about 19 seconds and it then disappears for about 10 seconds. It is then detected and the cycle continues. Actually this problem was also there when I first started using Fedora 8, however, it vanished I do not know how!

I am not sue what is going on or how to solve this problem now!

HELP

You need to provide more details about the modem, driver modules and kernel version.

#lsmod

#lshw
(the usb part)

Amani,
The result of lsmod is below. However, lshw could not be executed as shown below as well.
