USB memory sticks
I have a USB "memory Stick". This is a USB 2.0 based device that acts as a removable disk when inserted into a USB port on windows.
I am using Redhat 9.0. The device is recognized out of the box, but I have not cracked the code on the mount parameters to use. I have tried using the vfat filesystem without luck.
In the ideal world, I could set it up so that when the device is inserted, it would automatically be mounted someplace (e.g. /mnt/usbdrv0) automatically. The model I have in mind is inserting a CD while using the KDE desktop.
It seems that this one should be pretty easy. Any ideas?
